Razer’s New Gaming Mouse and Keypad

In Gaming, News by Josh BLeave a Comment

The well-known gamers brand, Razer has just announced their new and upgraded hardware for MOBA and/or MMO players to better their gaming and playing style. The new Razer Naga Trinity gaming mouse and the Razer Tartarus V2 gaming keypad comes in customizable hardware that’s able to suit the player, in particular, Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) and Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) games.

There’s one highly memorable things about the Razer products, the rainbow lighting. Both improved variations come with the awesome 16.8 million color options. Just something we’d like to point out.

What’s so good about the Razer Naga Trinity?

First off, the RNT (Razer Naga Trinity, that’s what we’re calling it) is up to its ninth iteration of the bestselling Razer Naga family. For some reason, people just love this mouse. It could because of the feel or because it of the range of programmable features, there’s a lot you can do with this mouse to make your life easier.

Razer Naga Mouse Features?

The new thing about RNT #9 is it comes with three different interchangeable side plates to suit different types of hand grips as well as a range of hand sizes. This interchangeable side-plate model comes with the Razer Naga Chroma’s iconic tradition of having a 12-button thumb grid that’s used for a variety of MMO games like “World of Warcraft,” a seven-thumb wheel of the Razer Naga Hex V2 for such games as “Heroes of the Storm” for users to choose. The last part is a new two-button configuration for general use.

Summing it all up, players can choose from different side-plates to include up to a 12 button-configuration with 19 programmable keys to suit each person’s needs.

Oh yeah, the new and improved mouse also comes with a new sensor with 5G, true 16,000 DPI (dots per inch) optical sensor with 450 IPS (inch per second) technology which makes it faster and has better accuracy with each mouse movement, as they say.

How about the Razer Tartarus V2, you ask?

“For even greater game control at your fingertips” was the first thing read when writing about this the Razer Tartarus V2. This iteration is an upgrade of the previous version of the keypad, Razer Tartarus. The RT V2 is a super ergonomically friendly piece of equipment to have since it features Razer Mecha-Membrane key technology which means they’re cushioned and soft along with the excellent tactile feel and sound with each press of a key.

What about the other new parts?

Players can use the eight-way directional thumbpad, the three-way scroll wheel which betters movement and helps with spell-casting. Users can use their pre-existing commands with the Razer Hypershift mode where players can add extra macros, shortcuts along with additional settings.

“Customization is what sets our peripherals apart from the competition. This mouse and keypad adapts to you: your game and your playstyle. From ‘World of Warcraft’ to ‘Heroes of the Storm,’ these peripherals put the controls in your hands the way you want it.” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO.
