If you’re the kind of gamer who constantly needs to be careful to not spill drinks from some of the numerous glasses and bottles placed around your desk, Razer has some good news. The company introduced its latest gaming keyboard dubbed BlackWidow Ultimate which is dust and water resistant.

The keyboard features IP54 certification making it protected against dust and splash water, enough for most gamers. Aside from being resistant to spillage, the BlackWidow Ultimate features mechanical keyboard switches made in-house by Razer. They promise a lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes, and 50 grams of actuation force, so expect them to be a bit louder when clicked.

Each key is backlighted individually by a green LED, and the keyboard supports different dynamic lightning effects including Wave, Ripple, Reactive, Starlight and more. If you have spare time and ideas, you can create new lightning profiles via the advanced lighting effect configurator found in Razer’s Synapse software where you can customize each green LED.

The Razer BlackWidow has relatively compact dimensions for a mechanical gaming keyboard, measuring 7.98 inch x 6.02 inch x 2.36 inch and is pretty light weighing in at 0.77lbs (348g). The keyboard can be bought on the company’s website for $109.99 from today, with the worldwide release slated for December.
