Mobius Final Fantasy is a fairly successful mobile game that managed to attract quite a cult following over the years. Initially released in Japan back in 2015, the game made its way to the west one year later and has recently made the transition from mobile to PC. Starting today, PC gamers will be able to play Mobius Final Fantasy for free via Steam. The fantasy RPG is available to download as we speak, though you may run into some issues if you try to play it right now. Fans of the series are advised to wait just a bit longer before attempting to play, as the game is currently undergoing server maintenance.
The PC port of Mobius Final Fantasy is, for the most part, identical to its mobile counterpart. However, there are a couple of noteworthy additions. Namely, the PC version runs at 1980 x 1080 resolution, features a wider field of view, and supports 4K resolution. In terms of system requirements, Square Enix suggests having at least 2 GB of RAM, a Dual-Core CPU @ 1.6 GHz, and an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT series GPU or AMD equivalent. Mobius Final Fantasy isn’t a very taxing game, and yet, it does look pretty decent on the PC all things considered.
It’s also worth mentioning that the PC version of Mobius Final Fantasy allows users to log in with their mobile accounts, should they happen to have one. No need to worry about losing any progress either because the game can sync the data between the two accounts.
