Tom Clancy’s The Division is scheduled to launch a few short days from now on March 8th, but I guess you already knew that. What you probably didn’t know is that you may be able to play the game for free if you’re lucky enough. No, I’m not talking about some awesome promotion directed at loyal Ubisoft fans, although that would be nice. Instead, we are offering you the chance to win a copy of The Division from us by taking part in our giveaway. Since last month’s XCOM 2 giveaway went so well, we decided to do another one for The Division and make this one open to anyone, as opposed to just gamers from the US like we did in the past.
So, we have one digital copy of The Division to give away and it’s for the PC, which means that you’ll need a Uplay account in order to play it. If you don’t already have an account you can take a couple of minutes and create one by visiting this link right here. Or, you can always do that later and just focus on how you can enter the giveaway for now, whatever works best for you.
The rules of the giveaway are pretty straightforward so you probably know them already if you took part in competitions like this before. Just leave a comment, give us a like on Facebook, tweet about out The Division giveaway, that kind of stuff. Simply use the widget below to complete as many tasks as you’d like and maximize your chances of winning by next Friday, March 11 when the giveaway ends. We’ll contact the winner via email shortly after that so make sure to keep an eye on your mailbox next week if you decide to enter the competition.
Tom Clancy’s The Division launches this Tuesday, March 8th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Since the game won’t come out everywhere at the same time, you might want to check out this blog post by Ubisoft to see exactly when you can expect to play The Division in your part of the world. I’m pretty sure you already know what game is all about but just in case you need to refresh your memory, I’ll leave you with the official description and some game gameplay footage below.
A devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, a classified unit of self-supported tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, The Division agents are trained to operate independently of command, as all else fails. Fighting to prevent the fall of society, the agents will find themselves caught up in an epic conspiracy, forced to combat not only the effects of a manmade virus, but also the rising threat of those behind it. When everything collapses, your mission begins.
