Rumor says that Ryan Reynolds signed the deal for “Deadpool” sequel

It was only a matter of time before people started to talk about Deadpool’s sequel even before its blue-ray version release. And what would Deadpool be without Ryan Reynolds who plays the role exceptionally? Personally, I can’t see any other actor playing the role of Deadpool as well as Reynolds does and that is why I tend to believe that rumor that Ryan Reynolds has already closed the deal for the movie’s sequel is true. Also according to a somewhat reliable source, HeroicHollywood, the contract for the sequel is already signed. Of course, Ryan Reynolds had already signed for a Deadpool sequel but his agent insisted in renegotiated his contract which apparently turned out well.

Considering the success that Deadpool had and that it became the highest paid R-rated movie in the box-office history, the sequel will most definitely have a better budget. Hopefully, with a budget increase, we will get to see more than two characters from X-Men, not that Colossus and Negasonic were not good enough. Even one of Deadpool’s line was: “Wow, this is such a big house, but I only ever see the two of you here. It’s like the studio didn’t have enough money for any more X-Men”. Until now, the only new characters we know will be included in the sequel are Cable and Domino but all of us including Ryan Reynolds REALLY want some more X-Men characters in the movie.

Basically, I think the rumor will be soon confirmed and more details about Ryan Reynolds deal with 20th Century Fox will be released alongside more information about the sequel’s story and maybe more inside about how Deadpool’s relationship with Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) will evolve. The filming for the Deadpool sequel will probably begin sometime this fall and we can only hope that Ryan Reynolds will impersonate Deadpool as amazingly as he did in the first movie.
