Update: All our available keys are gone but keep those comments coming because we’ll give away more if we manage to get our hands on extra keys.
Quake Champions is a return to the classic arena-style FPS many of us grew up with. While the developers did make a number of changes to the core formula, the game is for all intents and purposes a fast-paced, skilled-based shooter, just like its predecessors. But don’t take our word for it and see for yourself this weekend when Quake Champions enters its next Closed Beta testing phase. What’s that, you don’t have a key? No problem. As it happens, we have a few of them to spare and we’re just giving them away, no strings attached. Well…maybe a little string, but nothing too annoying.
If you want to take part in our Quake Champions giveaway and get your hands on one of our Closed Beta keys all you have to do is leave a comment down below. Simply tell us in the comment who your favorite Champion is (either from Quake Champions or Quake III) and you’re pretty much good to go. We only have 7 keys to give away at this time so this will work on a first come first served basis. If someone doesn’t reply to our email, however, we’ll probably pick someone else so be sure to leave a comment either way, just in case.
The next Quake Champions Closed Beta test starts today, May 4th at 10:00 AM EDT and will last until Sunday, May 7th at 4:00 AM EDT. Unlike last weekend, it sounds like the developers haven’t prepared anything new for this particular test. Either way, you can look forward to three game modes, three maps, eight Champions to choose from, and a whole lot of action. If you do happen to win a key from us, make sure to redeem it on your Bethesda account. After that, it’s just a matter of downloading the game via the launcher and you can start playing the Quake Champions Closed Beta as soon as the servers go up.
