Quake Champions Closed Beta Continues This Weekend, New Game Mode Incoming

In Gaming, News by Xardas0 Comments

In case you missed last week’s Quake Champions Closed Beta test don’t worry because there’s more where that came from. According to Bethesda, the next round starts tomorrow April 27 at 10 AM ET and will last throughout the weekend. This week Quake Champions players can look forward to a new game mode called Duel. Just as its name indicates, this is a 1v1 battle to the death. The twist is that you can pick three Champions and switch them up between rounds, so choose carefully.

Just in case you don’t have enough Favor to acquire enough Champions you’ll be happy to know that Bethesda will provide you with enough Favor needed to purchase the remaining two. In that case, your third pick will be Ranger, the default Quake Champions character that’s available to everyone right off the bat. Aside from that, it doesn’t sound like there will be a whole lot of changes compared to last weekend. If you haven’t played before, expect to be able to choose between eight Champions, three maps, and two more mode game modes in addition to Duel.

Haven’t signed up for the Quake Champions Closed Beta yet? No problem. Just head over to the official website, follow the instructions, and, hopefully, you’ll get your Closed Beta key in no time.
