Pre-Ordering Little Nightmares From GOG Gets You a Free Copy of Inside

Little Nightmares is set to launch in just a couple of days so if you were looking to pre-order it and get the bonus content you’ll probably want to hurry. I’m not usually one for pre-orders but in this case I’ll make an exception because GOG is having a special promotion that’s just too good to miss. Specifically, anyone looking to get their copy of Little Nightmares from the DRM-free marketplace will also get a free copy of Inside as a bonus. That is, another bonus because pre-ordering also gets you the regular extra content in the form of the Scarecrow Sack and Upside-down Teapot Mask.

Little Nightmares and Inside were developed by different studios so this promotion may some a bit strange to some. To anyone familiar with Inside, however, the deal will likely make a lot of sense. The two side-scrolling adventure games are very similar both in terms of mechanics and art style. Admittedly, Little Nightmares is a bit more colorful but looks just as grim and disturbing as Inside. There are some other differences, of course, but it’s hard not to look at Little Nightmares as a spiritual successor of sorts to Inside. In short, if you’re a fan of Inside and Playdead’s previous title, Limbo, you’ll probably want to give Little Nightmares a shot when it releases later this week.

Little Nightmares is scheduled to launch on April 28 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As for the GOG offer, it will only remain available until May 12 so you may want to hurry up. And if you do decide to pre-order, it’s worth noting that you will get access to Inside immediately so you can play it while you wait for Little Nightmares.
