Get Your Free Copy of Saints Row 2 on GOG for a Limited Time

In Gaming, News by Xardas0 Comments

If you’re looking to expand your GOG library a bit now’s the time. The folks behind the increasingly popular DRM-free marketplace have announced earlier today that they are giving away free copies of Saints Row 2 to everybody. There’s no catch here, you simply need a GOG account and you’re pretty much ready to go. The only downside is that the offer will only last for the next 48 hours or so as of this writing. To be more specific, the promotion ends this Saturday, April 22 at 10 AM UTC, so make sure to grab your copy of Saints Row 2 until then.

The Saints Row 2 giveaway is part of GOG’s ongoing Deep Silver sale, which lasts for another week until next Thursday, April 27 at 10 AM UTC. As part of the sale, you can find discounts of up to 75% off on select titles published by Deep Silver, such as Metro 2033, Sacred 2, the Risen series, and more. In addition, Saints Row IV: Game of the Century Edition and its standalone expansion Gat Out of Hell have also been made available on GOG. DRM-free, of course. For a limited time, you can grab both the game and its expansion for under 9 bucks, which is definitely a steal.

To top it all off, the company also announced that the Saints Row series has now been added to GOG Connect. In case you’re not familiar with the service, GOG Connect allows you to permanently import certain games from Steam to your GOG library. In this case, the available titles include Saints Row 2 (if you miss the giveaway), Saints Row: The Third, Saints Row IV, and Gat Out of Hell. Importing any of these games doesn’t mean that you’ll lose them on Steam, it just means that you’ll have access to them both on Valve’s platform and on GOG. This offer also only lasts for a limited time, so make sure you hurry.
